This is what I'd call a win-win-win situation: help out sick kids, enjoy a spring day and get some exercise!

Do all of the above with the Sprint for Special Spaces 1.5 mile color run/walk at the University of Dubuque on Saturday, April 25th beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Special Spaces was founded in 2004 with a mission to create dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening medical illnesses.

I've toured the University of Iowa Children's Hospital twice in preparation for Y105's annual 'Radiothon' event to benefit the Children's Miracle Network.

The two things I've learned to truly appreciate: comfort and normalcy for kids who are receiving treatment.

Special Spaces is allowing a child facing a situation that would be incredibly scary for any adult to dream and imagine. I can't think of anything more important than that.
