My wife, daughter and I were on a walk Saturday evening when we stumbled across this really unique and cool idea: a little free library (look at the picture and you'll notice I didn't get very creative labeling it) free-standing near someone's mailbox!

In print you may not be able to see from the image above, this is one of many Little Free Library stands across the country that neighborhoods can register for by CLICKING HERE.

Judging by the map on their website, there are eight here in Dubuque, IA. This was my first time seeing one and I think they're a great idea and hopefully they inspire some neighborhood kids to put down the tablet or video game controller for a few minutes and open up a book.
