Community Announcements

  • The City of Dubuque’s odd/even snow route parking policy will be in effect on Saturday, Feb. 10, and Sunday, Feb. 11.
    Parking will not be allowed on the “even” numbered side of the streets on Saturday and parking will not be allowed on the “odd” numbered side on Sunday.  The only streets affected are those identified with snow route signs, which include the times that parking is restricted.
  • City of Asbury  -Snow Emergency now thru Friday at  6:00pm
  • The city of Cascade has issued a snow emergency starting at 6pm tonight through noon on Saturday.
  • The city of Epworth is under a snow emergency starting today at 6pm until Saturday (2/10) at noon.  This means no vehicles can be parked on city streets or alleys during that time period.

Friday, February 9th

School Announcements

  • Bellevue Schools will be closed.
  • Capri College Dubuque will be closed
  • Clarke University campus will run on a delayed opening tomorrow (2/9).  While classes prior to 10am will NOT meet on campus, students should check email and moodle for alternate instruction from faculty.
  • Dubuque Community School District (public and parochial) is cancelling all classes due to the winter storm warning in effect throughout the day.
  • East Dubuque Schools will be closed.
  • Edgewood-Colesburg Schools will be closed.
  • Galena Schools will be closed.
  • Highland Community College cancelling all day and evening classes.  No campus activities
  • Maquoketa Schools will be closed.  There will be no activities.
  • Monticello Schools have cancelled classes for Friday February 9th.  There will be no activities and Panther Academy will be closed.
  • Northeast Iowa Community College's Peosta and the Dubuque Center will open at 10am on Friday (2/9).
  • Northeast Iowa School of Music will be closed.
  • Platteville Schools are closed today.
  • Potosi Schools are closed today.
  • Scales Mound Schools will be closed due to road conditions.
  • Tri-State Christian School will be closed.
  • University of Dubuque will be opening at 10am on Friday (2/9).  All classes scheduled before 10am will be made up at the professor's direction.
