We admit that this is a tough one: a touching video that finds Chris Picco singing the Beatles' 'Blackbird' to his dying newborn son, not long after the child's mother had herself died following an emergency c-section.

The child, whose name was Lennon, died on Wednesday. The video, uploaded by Picco's friend K.C. Honensee, had been recorded the day before. A memorial page has since been set up, but the site has been struggling with traffic capacity issues since the video went viral.

"My little fighter, Lennon James Picco went to sleep in his daddy’s arms late last night," Picco wrote in a statement following his child's death. "He was dressed in an outfit that Ashley bought for him, with little guitars on it, and wrapped in a blanket made by a dear friend. I am so thankful for the four unforgettable days I got to spend with him."

Meanwhile, a memorial fund has been set up for Ashley Picco, 30, who died on Nov. 9 at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital in California. Buzzfeed reports that it has already raised more than $60,000. A memorial service for both Ashley and Lennon is set for Saturday.

Chris signed off his note with another Beatles lyric: "All you need is love."
