Aaron Lewis was scheduled to play at the Mississippi Moon Bar inside the Diamond Jo Casino on Friday, February 13th. Today it was announced the show has been postponed until Thursday, May 21st due to 'unforeseen scheduling conflicts'. Whatever the reason, it will be worth the wait.

Lewis played the Cabaret Room inside Mystique Casino in May 2011 and it is one of the more memorable shows I've seen. I grew up listening to Lewis' rock band, Staind, and have always admired his philanthropic work off the stage.

At the time of the show, I hadn't listened to his country album that was released a few months earlier. I left the show a fan of country music songs. The only other guy who'd managed to make a country tune I'd liked was Garth Brooks.

Lewis played a perfect acoustic set that included songs from his new album, songs from the past (Staind) and some really good covers. The best cover of the night was Rascal Flatt's 'What Hurts the Most'.

If you want to enjoy an intimate show (he'll spark a conversation with people in the audience...And tell you to shut up if you're talking during the show) with amazing music, it's a show you should get tickets to! Click HERE for a link to get those.

Give this a listen.
