Seippel Road at US 20 Closing Soon for Southwest Arterial Construction

With construction starting on the Southwest Arterial / U.S. Hwy 20 interchange grading project, the intersection of Seippel Road and U.S. 20 in Dubuque will require closing Seippel Road and Cousins Road to traffic beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Seippel Road will be closed from one-half mile west of U.S. 20 to U.S. 20. Traffic will be detoured around the closure using U.S. 20, Iowa 32 (Northwest Arterial), and Chavenelle Road. Seippel Road will remain closed until the Southwest Arterial project is completed and open to traffic. Cousins Road, between Seippel Road and U.S. 20, will remain closed indefinitely.
