Smoke was reported inside the National Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque earlier today.  According to the Dubuque Fire Department fire crews arrived quickly and investigated. The building was evacuated by facility staff. Fire fighters found a malfunctioning compressor in the basement area. There was no fire and only light smoke removed by firefighters. All occupants were allowed back in within 15 minutes.  Approximately 75 people were evacuated from the building.  There were no injuries.
