So, I get in to work early today...you know, to catch up on things and make sure...Ok, who am I kidding.  I got here early and did a little work, then decided to spend some quality time on Youtube.

I go to the sports section to see if I missed any cool plays.  I watch a few sweet NBA dunks from Lob City to Lebron.  One of the "recommended videos" to the right catches my eye, an "NBA Fights" video.  I like a good fight, in fact, I try to keep up on the best hockey fights (especially Red Winger Jordan Tootoo ).  So, I thought, "Hmm, NBA fight...no pads...just man vs man."   What I got was the worst five minutes, ever.  Ok, maybe not ever, but let me prove how lame it was.

The first video was three minutes long and represented the "Best fights of the 2012 Season."  It starts with a few skirmishes and shoving matches, then...continues with more pushing and trash talk.  This, to me, is not a fight.  Not one punch was thrown in the "Best fights of the 2012 Season."  Disappointed, I decided to try another video, "Best All-time NBA Brawls."  C'mon, this has to be good.  Two minutes in, I have seen a few punches (thankfully, it's a fight video, after all) and a few kicks.  Woah, who kicks in the NBA? Maybe, Chuck Norris if he played (he probably would have went with CN-3).  It's one thing to kick another man in the head (that would make a cool NBA fight vid), but to kick him as a defense mechanism just makes you look silly.

Five minutes of this lame display was all I could handle.  I didn't even want to look up the "Bad Boys of Detroit" or the fight between Dr J and Larry Bird.  The best part of the entire five minutes was the announcer saying, during one Laker's fight "Of course, Ron Artest is the middle of that."

Don't waste your time on NBA Fight vids, their pretty lame in my opinion.  In fact, so lame that I couldn't wait to get back to work.
