Work is too busy, you've got holiday shopping coming up, the days are getting shorter and the temps are dropping. BUT IOWA IS 9-0 AND RANKED #5! That's how us sports fans cope; when things get stressful, we take solace in our favorite sports team's success (assuming they're having some).

For Hawkeyes fans, it's been an unexpectedly magical season that can become historic if the team can get to 10-0 for the first time in the program's history. To do it, they'll have to beat a Minnesota Golden Gophers team who has played top-tier Big Ten teams tough the last few weeks and whose record is not a great indicator of their talent.

Justin Gaard is the sideline analyst for the Gophers radio network and a producer at FM 100.3 The Fan in Minneapolis, MN (and IOWA graduate!!!) and he'll join at 6:40 p.m. to talk about Saturday's game. He's an elite B1G football mind and he'll be a great interview.

Colin Rea is a MLB pitcher for the San Diego Padres and is a Cascade, IA native who is back in his hometown for a meet-and-greet even at the Cascade Legion Hall. Colin will call in to talk about his recent success in the Bigs and thank those who have supported him from 2,000 miles away.

The Vikings (my favorite team) and Packers (my co-host, Jon's, favorite team) are tied atop the NFC North and the Bears are playing better than most anticipated; we'll talk NFC North and look at the Week 10 schedule.

Tune in tonight from 5-7 p.m. on AM 1490 WDBQ. Special thanks to Lot One and Skinny Maginny's on lower Main St. in downtown Dubuque!
