Wanted Criminals Captured in Jo Daviess County, Illinois- K9 Used

Jesse J Jones, a 28-year-old resident of Scales Mound, IL, found himself in custody yet again on April 7th, 2024, after law enforcement authorities received information about wanted individuals at a rural address in East Dubuque, Illinois. Jo Daviess County Deputies swiftly responded to the scene and successfully apprehended Jones, alongside another individual, Breanna L Staver.

During the arrest, Jones attempted to evade capture, initiating a brief foot pursuit. However, law enforcement officers, with the assistance of a Jo Daviess County K-9 Unit, managed to subdue Jones and bring him into custody. Alongside the outstanding warrants prompting the arrest, Jones now faces additional charges, including unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

Both Jones and Staver were promptly transported to the Jo Daviess County jail, where they await their respective court appearances.
