Dubuque Area Road Report May 6, 2021

US 61 southbound: Right lane closed between the Mississippi River bridge and IA 946 (near Dubuque) due to construction work. From 8:00AM to 7:00PM on weekdays and Saturdays until May 19, 2021 at about 7:00PM.

Wisconsin 133 is closed at Cassville with detours in place.  Work should be completed by mid-September.

City Street and Lane Closures include:

• Due to Bee Branch Project-related construction, W. 17th Street in Dubuque between Central Ave. and Iowa St. will be closed. The project includes underground utilities and the installation of stormwater trench drains across W. 17th St. near Heeb St. The estimated completion date is July 12. Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour.
• Pennsylvania Ave. will be closed between Radford Rd. and Seippel Rd. for asphalt milling and overlay starting at 7 AM Monday, May 10 until 4 PM Friday, May 14. Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour route.
• As part of the US Highway 20 / Swiss Valley Interchange project currently under construction, the Iowa Department of Transportation will be closing a segment of North Cascade Road between Royal Wood Drive and Swiss Valley Road beginning on Monday May 10^th. There will be no post detour. Local access to properties along the road closure segment will be maintained.The segment of North Cascade Road between Royal Wood Drive and Swiss Valley Road will remain closed until the new relocated North Cascade Road construction is completed and the new intersection with Swiss Valley Road is completed.
• A lane of N. Algona St. will be closed between Delaware St. and Decorah St. for private utility service work from 7 AM Thursday, May 6 to 5 PM Friday, May 7. Motorists are asked to use an alternate route.
• Clarke Dr. will be closed between Harold St. and Foye St. for private pavement repairs from 7AM Monday, May 10 to 5 PM Friday, May 14.  Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour.

US 151 Between County Road D53 and County Road D52 (near Bernard)  Right shoulder closed due to construction  Starting May 10, 2021 at 8:00AM CDT until May 28, 2021 at about 4:00PM.
