According to the Grant County Sheriff's Department. a woman died after being thrown from her vehicle in a crash Tuesday in Grant County, Wisconsin.

29-year-old Nicole R. Ronnfeldt, of Fennimore, was taken by ambulance to Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster, where she died, according to the Grant County Sheriff's Department.

The crash occurred at about 3:10 p.m. Tuesday on Roger Hollow Road southwest of Fennimore. A press release states that Ronnfeldt was northbound when her vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch. It then hit a culvert and went airborne, ejecting Ronnfeldt.

The crash remains under investigation. It is the sixth fatal crash in Grant County this year, and it was the third one in three days.
