A Cedar Rapids Breakfast and Lunch Spot Closes Today
A good breakfast and lunch spot is like a good friend. Always there for you, offering you comfort. That's what great breakfast food is. Comfort. Sadly, a Cedar Rapids breakfast and lunch spot will close its doors for the final time today.
CBS2 reports that this morning will be your last chance to visit Bea's Cafe in Cedar Rapids. The restaurant is located at 3100 6th Street SW and has been open for six and a half years. Bea's Cafe featured a menu with many of your favorite breakfast staples. Omelets, skillet scrambles, waffles, hot cakes, french toast, steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, and much more. Sadly, the owner of the restaurant announced on Facebook that health problems would lead to the restaurant closing.
According to the post, surgery at the beginning of the month came with complications, and CBS2 reports that to ensure proper healing and continued good health, Bea's Cafe will have to close.
You won't have long to stop in and enjoy one final breakfast or lunch. The post states that Bea's Cafe will be open today from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then close its doors for good.
