Donald Trump’s Nephew Reveals Details About Family Dynasty in New Book
He's been called "the nice Trump" and "the quiet Trump" in recent years, but as of late, he's done being quiet.
Fred Trump III, nephew of former President Donald Trump, has just released a brand new book called All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way. The book chronicles the interpersonal dynamics within the Trump family, explores the life of Fred Trump Jr, Donald's brother and Fred's father, and also shows how Trump's turn into politics has impacted his family members far and wide.
I had the pleasure of chatting with Fred Trump III this morning. You can tell by his disposition that he's a quiet man, but a thoughtful one as well. His own story is fascinating. He's the father to three children, one of whom named William, who was born with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Fred calls William "his greatest inspiration," and has made it his life mission to advocate for those with similar disabilities who find themselves unintentionally "voiceless." In our conversation, Fred recalls a 45-minute meeting with his uncle while he president, which, when dismissed, had Donald Trump remarking that those with developmental disabilities "should just die," a comment that floored Fred.

Fred has never voted for his uncle in any capacity. He voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, Joe Biden in the 2020 election, and has recently endorsed Kamala Harris for president in 2024.
