Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society.

This week, the Humane Society is highlighting Kilo, a dog who lives up to his name given there are 1,000 reasons to love this energetic goofball.

More About Kilo, the "Pet of the Week:"

Kilo might be a senior dog, but you wouldn't guess it with his energetic disposition. He is a loving, goofy, spirited dog who loves treats. He does his best to practice patience when he knows he might be given some.

Kilo is in the process of learning how to measure his energy, but he does get along with other dogs. He's not as friendly with cats, however. In addition, Kilo has lived with children in the past, so he could very well be a welcomed member of your family!

Adoption Fee Lowered Through December 31st:

The Dubuque Regional Humane Society has lowered Kilo's adoption fees to just $25 through December 31st, so if you're new year's resolution is to welcome a dog into your home, Kilo might be the one you're looking for!

Also, last week's Pet of the Week, Jett, was adopted shortly after we wrote about him!
