The season for snow is coming to an end, which means the same for the season of Snocross - the high-speed, high-flying sport of snowmobile racing, and the final showdown of the season is happening in our backyard.

April 1st and April 2nd, the Amsoil Championship Snocross Series will be taking over Sundown Mountain Resort in Dubuque, Iowa, for the final Snocross event of the season.

The Theisen's Snocross National will see the final races of each of the five divisions of races. This is the Daytona of snow sports.

Current point leaders in their own respective divisions include:

Parking Information

All spectator parking is at NICC (Northeast Iowa Community College) lot in Peosta, IA (A short 12-minute commute to the races). DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS, THERE WILL BE NO SPECTATOR PARKING AT SUNDOWN MOUNTAIN RESORT.

14 buses will arrive in the lot every 10-15 minutes to take customers to the front door at Sundown’s Mountain Center Building. These same buses will be available to take you back to NICC on the same schedule. Cost for parking is $10 per car. CASH ONLY WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Using Uber, Taxi, or having a friend drop you off? We will also have a spectator Drop Off ONLY Area onsite at Sundown Mountain Resort for those using services such as Uber, Taxi or having a friend drop them off.
