Iowa Hawkeyes Looking For Kid Captains For 2024-2025 Football Season
Since the 2009 football season, the Iowa Hawkeyes have partnered with the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital to bring an unforgettable experience to an unforgettable kid each and every home game.
Through stories of strength, oourage, and inspiration, kids with life-changing stories have been featured as the University of Iowa Hawkeyes Kid Captain for the day of a home game.
The University of Iowa is looking for Kid Captains for the upcoming football season, and former and current pediatric patients of or under the age of 18 of the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital are eligible for a nomination.
All Kid Captains will receive a commemorative jersey, special recognition from the Stead Family Children’s Hospital and the Iowa Hawkeyes, and an invitation to a special behind-the-scenes tour of Kinnick Stadium.
