Have you met or heard of the Iowa native Isaac Jarnagin?

I have never met Isaac but I hope one day I run into this entrepreneur, content creator, and podcaster, who is based in Ames, Iowa.

I was lying on my couch yesterday letting my brain rot as I scrolled through social media when I found this 49-second video called "Iowa but Make it Cinematic." I'm not sure about you but when I'm doom scrolling the internet, my attention span lasts about 25 seconds, after that, I flip to the next video. I came across this video from Isaac and I think he created a perfect video for the title.

In my opinion, he created a fantastic glimpse of Iowa's essence in a variety of settings. If someone had never heard of Iowa, I think this video would be a perfect starting point for them to watch. Dirt roads, Des Moines' capital building, Iowa's fields, gorgeous sunsets, school spirit, and the fun tat can be spent on Iowa lakes.

For someone with a short attention span, I watched the entire 49-second video Isaac created and I thought he did Iowa justice.

As someone who creates content on the internet and speaks into a microphone for a living, I can appreciate the effort he puts into his content and wanted to share some of it with you. In this video, Isaac answers the question "Why I live in the middle of nowhere."

I'd be willing to bet a lot of Iowans live here for many of the same reasons as Isaac does.

Isaac introduces himself to you on his website IsaacJarnagin and he talks about all of the avenues he's explored in his life thus far. Whether it's creating content, photography, or starting his clothing brand in 2019.

"I’ve had the “go-getter” mindset for as long as I can remember. Back in high school, I’d edit and post gaming highlights, and then I went all in and started a clothing brand back in 2019. That move opened the doors to photography, cinema, design, and social media – you name it, I’ve probably explored it."

For anyone Iowan who wants to see a little bit of themselves captured on the internet, through Isaac's unique lens, I highly recommend taking an internet stroll through his social media pages. You can also explore his podcasts on YouTube, and keep up with his projects on his website.
