In exhausting and unpredictable times, it's great to be able to laugh. Comedy and humor are like live performances and theater: essential to the human experience. Dubuque's Bell Tower Theater clearly believes that to be the case yet again as they are primed to welcome back an act that's been making a stop in Dubuque nearly every year since 2005!

G.I.T. Improv (formerly known as "Guys in Ties") are set to return to the Bell Tower Theater for a night of laughs and camaraderie on Saturday, November 5th, 2022. The show starts at 7:30pm. Unlike most stage productions at the Bell Tower Theater, this show is one-night only, due to their intensive and busy touring schedule.

That said, tickets are on sale now, but they are moving fast!

G.I.T. Improv originated in Rock Island, IL all the way back in 1997. Since then, they've become a multi-award winning comedy act, having opened and/or performed with legends of their craft such as "Weird Al" Yankovic, Norm MacDonald, Sinbad, and more!

Bell Tower Theater has become such a fixture for G.I.T. Improv that their site even mentions it in the same paragraph as those titans:

We also have an open run at The Bell Tower Theatre in Dubuque, Iowa, performing to consistently sold out audiences for over a decade, were featured performers at Green Bay Improv Festival, So ILL Comedy Festival, and headlined the Compass Improv Festival in St. Louis for back-to-back years.

Miki Robinson of Bell Tower Theater stopped by to talk about G.I.T. Improv's incredible popularity in the Tri-States. Robinson also appears in the promotional video featured on the troupe's website:

They've been coming to the Bell Tower Theater since 2005, and we adore them [....] You don't even have to have been to an improv show [....] [G.I.T. Improv] make up everything on the spot, using suggestions from the audience. What's cool about that is it's a completely different show every time.

While there is still time to get tickets to see G.I.T. Improv, they are going quickly. Grab your ticket(s) on the Bell Tower Theater's website, or read about G.I.T. Improv further via their website and/or their Facebook page! You can also listen to Miki Robinson talk about the troupe as well as another show at Bell Tower Theater below!
