I was born and raised in the area (Cascade, IA). Been involved in radio since 1983 and have worked for WJOD since 1988. Happily married to my wife Shari since 1986(you'll have to ask her if she agrees on the "happily" part). We have 4 children, 2 boys & 2 girls, 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters. I like to talk (go figure) and have even been known to talk in my sleep (you know what they say practice makes perfect). I love going to country concerts. The best part of my job is every day is different. You never know from one day to the next what's going to happen. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy entertaining people. I also enjoy golf, football(watching not playing), and baseball. My favorite team is the Baltimore Orioles and my favorite player is Cal Ripken JR. I also enjoy an occasional cold beverage or two. I'd tell you my favorite book but to be honest I haven't read one in a long time (my apologies to my high school English teachers). I host a weekly country dance every Wednesday night from 7p-11pm at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds. Come out and say "hey" this week.
