According to a press release form the organization, Camp Courageous will host an Omelet Breakfast and Open House on April 30th from 8am to noon. It is a breakfast of made-to-order omelets served with sausage, toast, coffee, juice, and milk. All proceeds from this event go to Camp Courageous and its mission of serving individuals of all ages with disabilities.
Over 20 cooks will be making made-to-order omelets with ham, cheese, green peppers, onions, and more. The Camp recommends you come early for this breakfast. The price is just $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. In addition, for every adult meal purchased guests will receive a coupon for a $5 zipline ride. That's half-off.
During the breakfast and open house, visitors will be able see the current construction of the upcoming fully accessible 18-hole miniature golf course. The 700 foot zipline ride will be open for $10 per rider. Kids of all ages can visit and pet the Camp’s animals in the Nature Center. Guided tours of the Camp Courageous facilities will be available, which will include the Sill Barn, Train Depot, camper cabins, indoor pools, and more. Raffle tickets are $25 each, with the drawing being held on Sunday, December 31, 2023 (The vehicle seen below is a representation not the actual vehicle).
