According to a recent press release from the City of Dubuque; The Port of Dubuque Marina will be temporarily closed to the public this week; from Today, September 19th, through Friday, September 23 due to lack of staffing. The Marina will reopen on Saturday, September 24th with the gas dock operating under end of season hours:. Those hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 5pm. In addition, the gas dock will not be open during weekdays.

The last day of operation for this season will be Sunday, October 2nd. After the 2nd, patrons who have already purchased a reserved slip, or have a seasonal slip, will still have access to other port amenities. All currently un-reserved slips will be first come first served. For the security of seasonal boaters, the dock gates will remain locked until October 31st.

Areas will be explored through presentations, tours, and conversations with other local neighbors.  It's also your chance to see your taxpayer investments at work and share your thoughts. City Life is free, with meals provided. Applications are currently open for the next sessions, taking place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings this fall (October 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20) from 6 to 9pm.
