This unique event will bring together over 170 convertibles and more than 350 car enthusiasts from across the country for four days of scenic drives, cultural exploration, and classic American charm.
The OpenAir Classic is a must-attend for anyone who loves the thrill of open-air driving. Whether you're cruising in an antique roadster, a muscle car, or a modern convertible, this event is all about enjoying the freedom of the road and the beauty of the Midwest.
The tour will wind through some of the most stunning landscapes in northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin, offering participants the chance to explore winding backroads, rolling hills, and historic small towns that feel like they've been plucked straight from a Norman Rockwell painting.
Dubuque serves as the tour’s home base, providing a rich backdrop of history and attractions. Participants will have the opportunity to visit local gems like the Fenelon Elevator, the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, and Eagle Point Park. Day trips will take drivers along the Great River Road, with stops in charming towns such as Guttenberg, Marquette, and McGregor in Iowa, and Prairie du Chien and Potosi in Wisconsin.
One of the tour’s highlights is the public display of these stunning vehicles at the legendary Field of Dreams in Dyersville on Saturday, August 17th. From 4:00 to 5:30 PM, the public is invited to admire the convertibles up close, making it a perfect outing for car enthusiasts and families alike.
The day will culminate with a twilight “Ghost Game” baseball exhibition, adding a touch of magic to the experience. If you're interested in participating, act fast—the tour is limited to 200 vehicles, and spots are expected to fill quickly.
