Enter Non-profit Keeping K-9s in Kevlar. They have accepted the responsibility to bring the community together, to help fund the four-legged Cuba City Police K9 Thor for his “Superhero cape,” in this case that’s a bullet resistant Kevlar vest.

Each vest would cost $3,100 without nonprofit assistance. However, Keeping K-9s in Kevlar receives $620 superhero discounts with each vest. The K9 Storm, Inc vest for Superhero K9 Thor costs $2,480. And remember you can always donate directly to Thor through Keeping K-9s in Kevlar by following this paypal link. K9 Thor’s new “cape” is becoming increasing necessary as he pursues the most violent offenders, taking drugs off the streets, and helping conduct article, area, and building searches. The Kevlar vest is intended to protect K-9 Thor against stabbings, shrapnel, and bullets shot from common handguns. It also protects against impalement, barbed wire fences, and environmental hazards that Thor may face.

In addition, any donations that exceed the total of $2,480 after the campaign is finished, will roll over to the next K9 in need of assistance.
