Fans Fight in the Suites at Cubs vs. White Sox Game in Chicago
Not only did the Cubs take care of business on the field in a 10 to 7 win; but one of their fans put the boot, so to speak, to their in-suite rivals; kicking another fan in the head. Multiple fights happened at one time in the video, which showed two women going at it in one corner and a pair of male fans fighting as well.
One woman was seen repeatedly punching another woman while other fans attempted to intervene and break it up. The man in the blue t-shirt was seen pummeling another fan before someone dragged him over the seats and escorted him out.
The brawl took place in a suite box at Guaranteed Rate Field. Suites at Guaranteed Rate Field, home of the White Sox, range between $3,500 to $6,000 depending on the day of the week and suite size. And if beer was involved those cost another $10.75 a piece.
The people involved in the altercation have not yet been identified. It’s also unclear at this time if anyone was injured and whether or not police or stadium security was called to the incident.
The White Sox currently sit in 4th place of the American League Central division with a 41 and 62 record or a .398 win percentage. The Cubs are currently in 3rd place of the National League Central Division with a split record of 50 and 51 or a .495 win percentage. No matter how you look at it, it's pretty sad that the most exciting action for both teams this season, seems to be taking place off the field.
