Work does have its advantages. In fact, last Thursday evening was a whirlwind of martinis, music, and making a difference at the Tri-States Martini Shake-Off.

But beyond the glitz, there was a deeper purpose driving the festivities: the mission of the Tri-States HAVlife foundation. Dedicated to unlocking the potential of youth aged 10 to 15, HAVlife ensures that financial barriers don't snuff out young dreams. Whether it's funding a music camp or sponsoring a soccer program, they're all about making sure every kid has a shot at their passions. This is something I can always get behind, being that I am both a former college athlete and am now coaching my local community's children in soccer.
