School Announcements  -

All Dubuque Schools closed until April 13th

Bellevue closed until April 13

Western Dubuque Schools closed until further notice.

University of Dubuque:  Extending Spring Break for 1 extra week.

Clarke University:  Suspending classes for 2 weeks, after Spring Break (classes will be online)

Southwest Tech is closed to the public, including students.  Staff may come to campus to pick up essentials to work at home.  The emergency response team should report to work

In Illinois, all schools will be closed from March 17 to 30,  Day care centers will remain open, but must follow "strict health and safety guidance,".

Wisconsin schools closed until at least April 6.

NICC face to face classes cancelled district wide through 5/20/20.

All sports at Clarke, Loras, UD and Wisconsin Platteville have been canceled, or indefinitely suspended

High School spring sports are suspended

Community Announcements -

To reduce potential spread of coronavirus, effective immediately, the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency (DMASWA) has suspended all residential drop-off services for electronics and household hazardous materials until at least April 12, 2020

The American Legion in Dubuque is closed.

Diamond Jo Casino is closed through Tuesday, March 31. Customers with events scheduled at Diamond Jo during the closure period should call (563) 690-4800 for information and assistance

The National Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque is closed

MidwestOne Bank announced regular lobby hours will be suspended at most branch locations to prevent the community spread of the virus. Please make your transactions through drive-up windows.  To visit a banker in-person or to access your safe deposit box, please call your local MidWestOne office and make an appointment at a time that is convenient for you. Limited lobby access will remain in effect until further notice. We are also closing our community meeting rooms to outside organizations.
To help prevent the potential spread of COVID-19, the Carnegie-Stout Public Library will close Wednesday, March 18, at 12 p.m. until April 13. This closure includes the cancellation or postponement of all scheduled programs and events until April 13. Outreach and homebound services are also suspended at this time.

Harlem Globetrotters Scheduled for Friday, March 20th is Postponed. New Date TBA.

Diamond Jo Casino has postponed all live acts at the Mississippi Moon Bar through March

Five Flags: most scheduled shows have been postponed

St Luke's United Methodist Church canceling all activities.  Mass is still available online.
