Travelers out of Dubuque Regional Airport now have an exciting new option for reaching destinations beyond Chicago. According to a recent news release, Delta Airlines has partnered with Denver Air Connection, allowing passengers to book flights to and from Dubuque directly through Delta’s website. This makes connecting through Chicago O’Hare seamless. All baggage automatically transfers with no need for additional check-ins or screenings, simplifying the travel experience for both business and pleasure.
Delta joins American Airlines and United Airlines as carriers which offer interline ticketing with Denver Air Connection. This provides multiple ways for flyers to connect to destinations across the country. Denver Air Connection currently operates daily flights between Dubuque and O’Hare, with an early morning departure and an evening return. These flights have proven highly reliable, with a 98.5% completion rate and most flights landing or taking off within 15 minutes of schedule. Passengers out of Dubuque can now count on arriving at their next destination without unnecessary delays.

The morning flight schedule was also recently adjusted (11/1/2025) to leave Dubuque at 7:15 AM and arrive at O’Hare in Chicago at 8:20 AM. This earlier arrival allows travelers to access more than 200 connecting flights within four hours and makes it easier to reach destinations across the country by the afternoon. The schedule change was implemented to better accommodate business travelers and really anyone that's wanting smoother connection to their next flight.
Dubuque Regional Airport users can also take advantage of a $100 round-trip rebate, now available for tickets purchased through December 31st, 2025. The extension is perfect for those upcoming holiday trips. The rebate can be applied to flights at any time, offering extra value and flexibility for passengers as long as it is purchased before the deadline.
