Donald Trump Supporter in Hot Water for Posting Too Many Signs in Yard
Freedom of speech may have its limits.
A Haverhill, Mass. man is looking at some fines because he has too many Donald Trump signs in his front yard.
This is not an issue of the town bigwigs supporting Hillary Clinton, either. It turns out there is law behind the controversy.
A city ordinance bars residents from posting signs that take up more than 32 square feet, which is much less than the 300 square feet of signage in Rick Early's yard.
Early remains defiant in his stance. "This is my property, and I have a constitutional right to express my opinions," he said. "They’re not coming down."
Early has had the signs up since January and he said he will go to court to fight to keep them on his property, if necessary. “I think it’s my right to keep them up, and I’m gonna keep them up,” he said.
