Morrison joins Dubuque in the midst of his sophomore season at the University of Wisconsin. In 19 career games with the Badgers, Morrison has recorded 12 shots on goal, 4 penalty minutes, and a -4 rating. Before beginning his NCAA career, Morrison
played parts of four seasons of junior hockey for the AJHL’s Okotoks Oilers. In 68 games for the Oilers, he posted 17 goals, 20 assists, for 37 points and 68 penalty minutes.

“We are excited that Brayden has decided to join our team. He is a hard working forward with speed and ability to finish. His experience from both junior and college hockey will benefit our club moving forward.”

-Kalle Larsson, President of Hockey Operations/General
Manager, Dubuque Fighting Saints.

During his first full campaign with Okotoks in 2019-20, Morrison was named to the AJHL South All-Rookie Team. It was Morrisons only full season in the AJHL. He played in 53 games and scored 14 goals and added 16 assists. Morrison comes from a strong hockey family. His father, Brendan, won the 1997 Hobey Baker award at Michigan and scored the game-winning goal in the 1996 NCAA championship game. He went on to play 14 seasons in the NHL.

To make room for Morrison on the 25-man roster, the Fighting Saints transferred forward Cole Helm to injured reserve. He will wear jersey number 23 for the Fighting Saints.
