The Dubuque Regional Humane Society is excited to introduce this week’s Pet of the Week: Blu!
Blu has been part of the DRHS family for over 200 days, and they can’t understand why?! She is an incredible dog who is more than ready to find her forever home. Blu is currently thriving at her foster home and showing everyone just how wonderful she truly is.
At about 4.5 years old and weighing around 63 pounds, Blu is the perfect blend of playful companion and cozy couch buddy. She loves her toys, enjoys getting active, and will happily settle in for snuggles when it’s time to relax. Blu has attended multiple public events, including the Farmer’s Market and local fundraisers, where she's impressed everyone she met and gets along with kids and adults alike. She’s social, friendly, and always excited to make new friends, including other dogs.
Yup, Blu gets along with most dogs and is eager to be part of a family who will include her in their adventures and everyday life. As a “long-stay” dog, her adoption fee is just $125, but the joy she’ll bring is priceless. So, if you’re looking for a loyal, loving, fun companion, Blu could e your perfect match.
