The final Taste of Summer event is happening at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium this Thursday, August 4th.

The best part? Admission is FREE!

Everyone is invited to attend the third and final festival of the year! From 5-9pm, the River Museum will be home to live music, delicious food from a variety of food trucks, and great entertainment.

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to use; a limited number of picnic tables will be available.

Boys of Lloyd will be taking the stage at 6pm followed by local favorite Boogie Monster at 7:45pm.

Food trucks will be available on-site as well. The Crepe Iron, Magoo’s Pizza, Happi Hibachi, and Vesperman Farms Ice Cream Truck will all be serving up delicious food for festgoers. All the food vendors will be competing for the prize of "Best Vendor." Come hungry so you're able to try at least a couple of them!

Ample parking for the event is available in the public lots just outside of the River Museum at 350 East 3rd Street in Dubuque.

Taste of Summer is open to all ages and is free to attend. Both beverage sales and freewill donations will support the River Museum’s ongoing conservation efforts to save endangered species.

None of this would be possible without the generous help of some amazing sponsors, including: Townsquare Media, Greenstate Credit Union, KWWL News 7, Diamond Jo Casino, Pepsi Lime Rock Springs, Colony Brands, Coors Light, Origin Design, Conlon, and 7G Distributing.
