Iron Maiden Extend ‘Legacy of the Beast’ Tour Into 2020
Iron Maiden's Legacy of the Beast tour will enter its third year in 2020.
The band has announced 33 more shows around the world that will take place next spring and summer.
They'll begin May 1 at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Over the next 11 weeks they'll play shows in New Zealand, Asia and Europe -- including a pair of U.K. festival dates -- before wrapping up the leg on July 25 in Barcelona's Olympic Stadium.
You can see the complete tour calendar and a promotional video below. Detailed ticketing information is available at the band's website.
The first leg of the Legacy of the Beast tour took place across Europe during summer 2018 and then played 34 nights across North America earlier this year, followed by dates in Mexico and South America.
The shows' set list spans Iron Maiden's entire career, including songs from the period when Blaze Bayley fronted them. The production includes a large-scale World War II Spitfire fighter plane, as well as singer Bruce Dickinson wielding a flamethrower.
“We’ve had a fantastic time on the Legacy tour so far, and the reaction everywhere to the stage show and all the crazy props (and Eddie!) I get to play with has been phenomenal," Dickinson said in a statement. "The whole band has been having such fun. We’re really excited to bring this production to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the Philippines, Israel and Dubai, and to come back to Europe and reach even more of our fans there.”
