The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has posted a recall that could affect your next pizza night. It was announced on Sunday, August 14, that a line of products made by Home Run Inn Frozen Foods has been recalled due to the possible presence of metal pieces.

The product recalled is the 33.5-oz cartons containing “Home Run Inn CHICAGO'S PREMIUM PIZZERIA DELUXE SAUSAGE CLASSIC PIZZA” with “best by” date “12/03/22”.

The products also have the establishment number “EST. 18498-A” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The items were shipped to a distributor in Illinois, and then further distributed to retailers.

There have not been any confirmed injuries but the USDA urges you to check your freezers and return these products to the store where you purchased them or throw them out.

An additional recall on a beverage product that becomes especially popular as kids go back to school was announced as well. TMZ and other sources note that KraftHeinz, the maker of Capri Sun products, is recalling 5,760 cases of the drink as they may contain a cleaning solution.

There were reported complaints of customers complaining about the taste, prompting the manufacturer to look into the issue, specifically with the Wild Cherry flavored pouches, and KraftHeinz is now asking customers to return them to the point of purchase for a refund.
