A New Martini Bar is Now Open in Uptown Marion

A popular Cedar Rapids martini bar has opened its second location in the Corridor! BarTini's has officially expanded into Uptown Marion.

BarTini's opened its first location in Cedar Rapids' Kingston Village neighborhood back in early February of 2025. Located at 151 1st Ave SW, the business offers over 100 different types of martinis, as well as whiskey, bourbon, beer, fine wine, craft cocktails, and small plates.

BarTini's Marion

Thanks to its success in Cedar Rapids, the folks behind BarTini's revealed in July that they would be opening a second location in the Corridor this fall! The new BarTini's has moved into the former home of Crab Attack Seafood Kitchen & Bar, which closed back in December, at 796 11th Street in Uptown Marion. They had initially hoped to open in September, but the business' Facebook page reports that they began welcoming customers on October 6th.

BarTini's Marion is now open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to midnight and Friday & Saturday from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Happy Hour is held Tuesday through Friday from close until 6 p.m., and features buy-one-get-one glasses of wine, featured martinis, and customer cocktails. In addition to Happy Hour, other weekly specials include:

• Tuesdays
  • Buy-one-get-one flatbreads
• Wine & Whiskey Wednesdays
  • 50% off wine, whiskey cocktails, and charcuterie boards
• Thursdays
  • Buy-one-get-one Bruschetta Boards

The kitchen at BarTini's Marion is run by Chef Robert Bolden, who came to the bar & restaurant from Cobble Hill in Cedar Rapids. The menu includes small plates, grazing boards, flatbreads, and bruschetta, but they also offer entrees, like Lobster Mac & Cheese, Grilled Steak Kebabs, Tuna Poke Bowls, Rigatoni ala Roma, and Lamb Bolognaise.
