New Eastern Iowa Beverage Trucks Offer ‘Dirty’ Sodas & Energy Drinks
A new trend has emerged in the world of beverages! Why have a standard pop or energy drink when you could make it "DIRTY?!"
Caffeine & Chaos Co.
I recently came across the Facebook page for a new business called Caffeine & Chaos Co. that caught my attention. Based out of the Quad Cities, Caffeine & Chaos is a beverage trailer that specializes in Dirty Alani drinks.
If you're not familiar with Alani Nu, it's an incredibly popular energy drink brand that comes in a ton of flavors. They are carbonated, sugar-free, and low-calorie, and each can provides around 200mg of caffeine. New and seasonal flavors have been known to sell out when they're initially released!
At Caffeine & Chaos, they take different flavors of Alani and add other ingredients to make them "extra." The Facebook page says:
"We take that bold energy drink and 'dirty' it up with creamy mixers, sweet flavor shots, and drippy syrups to give you a smooth, sassy, and totally addictive drink."
And, Caffeine & Chaos doesn't just offer standard cups. They also have something called "Chaos Cups," which feature two chambers for two different flavors of their signature beverages!
"We’re currently looking for events coming up in the next few months and into the summer to start filling our schedule. We sell Dirty Alani and Dirty soda, and we love popping up anywhere with good vibes. If you know of any businesses, schools, hospitals, doctor’s offices, or events that would be open to having us, please send them our way! Thank you so much for the support!"
319 Drink Co.
The Cedar Rapids Gazette recently wrote about another local trailer called 319 Drink Co., that has a similar concept to Caffeine & Chaos. 319 Drink Co. focuses on dirty sodas, and has signature beverages involving Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Coke, Orange Fanta, Sprite, and Root Beer. They also offer some hot beverages, as well.
319 Drink Co. is based out of Cedar Rapids and just debuted in October of 2025. According to the Gazette, the owner is Brie Simmons, who previously owned Lizzie’s Dining Car in Marengo. For the latest updates on where you can find the 319 Drink Co. trailer, check out the official Facebook page HERE.
Wilder Thirst
Wilder Thirst was the first of these three beverage trailers to come on the scene. It debuted back in 2023 as Fizz Wagon Dreamsoda, before changing its name to Wilder Thirst at the end of 2024.
Also based out of Cedar Rapids, Wilder Thirst brings a "new twist to mixed sodas and energy drinks" with "unique, handcrafted flavor combinations." Not only do they offer signature drinks with sodas like Sprite, Mountain Dew, Root Beer, and Coke, but there are also sections of the menu for Fresca, Red Bull, Alani Nu, iced coffee, hot chocolate, water, sugar-free drinks, and more. You can also opt to "Create Your Own" drink, if you're feeling creative! Check out the full menu HERE.
Wilder Thirst has officially closed for the winter season, but they plan to return to local events in the spring of 2026! Visit their website HERE for more information.
