A Unique New Laundromat is Coming to Cedar Rapids This Fall

If you've ever had to do your laundry at a laundromat, you know that it's not always the most convenient or fun experience. A new Cedar Rapids laundromat is hoping to change that!

A new laundromat called Laundry Lounge will be opening later this year at 1030 Mount Vernon Road, just outside of Downtown Cedar Rapids. The Facebook page for the business calls it "Cedar Rapids’ cleanest & quirkiest laundromat!"

Laundry Lounge is owned by Cheyanne and Seth Carroll, and Cheyanne told me that the goal of the business is "to bring some comfort and fun to a normally mundane, tedious experience." Here are some of the more unique features of Laundry Lounge:

Grand Opening

It's still too early to determine an official opening date for Laundry Lounge, but co-owner Cheyanne says that they are shooting for mid-October.
