Illinois’ Most Popular Fast Food Joint Just Dropped Big News

Gone are the days when you have to wonder if you can buy a jar of Portillo's best condiments and desserts, now you can grab them yourself inside the store.

When it comes to fast food, there's just one place Illinois residents want to go, Portillo's.

Ok, fine, we like to eat at all of the fast food options, especially when we're running around during the holidays, but Portillo's was born here in Illinois and it's delicious, so by default, it's our favorite.

Whether you love the Italian beef sandwiches, the chopped salad or the chocolate cake, Portillo's has big news about your favorite items.

You can now grab them yourself at the 'Grab & Go' section on East State Street in Rockford.

'Grab 'N Go's are popping up in Portillo's everywhere but we know for certain there's on waiting for you in Rockford. The new section was created in November and it's pretty packed with different 'grab & go' options.

Unfortunately there is no giant jar of cheese sauce... but maybe someday.

For now you can get entire chocolate cakes, slices of chocolate cake, slices of eclair cake, slices of strawberry shortcakes, jars of giardiniera, bottles of three different Portillo's salad dressings, packs of Italian beef and Portillo's merch!

I might have to head back there to grab a cheese fries stress ball... you never know when you're gonna need one, right?
