A wickedly popular band from the late-1960s and early-1970s takes the Five Flags Center stage on Friday, May 19, 2023 as they're in the middle of their fifth decade of touring and performing.

Three Dog Night is coming to Dubuque in time to kick off what is poised to be another summer of great entertainment for Five Flags Center. The legendary band has some of the most astonishing statistics in popular music. From 1969 through 1974, no other group achieved more top 10 hits (21), sold more records, or sold more concert tickets than Three Dog Night.

Five Flags Center made the announcement via press release that Three Dog Night would be performing at the venue on May 19th:

Three Dog Night hits weave through the fabric of pop culture today, whether on the radio where they are heard day in and day out, in TV commercials or in major motion pictures -- songs like “Mama Told Me (Not To Come)”, “Joy to the World”, “Black and White”, “Shambala” and “One” serve to heighten our emotions and crystallize Three Dog Night’s continuing popularity.

Special guest Danny McGaw will also be joining Three Dog Night for the show. McGaw is an accomplished musical talent himself:

Danny McGaw is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and sound-engineer based in Ojai, California, currently touring with legendary Vocal Hall of Fame inductees, Three Dog Night. Danny’s voice packs an emotional charge that commands any room. Whether it’s intimate acoustic ballads or explosive folk rock anthems, his incisive lyrics and emotional intensity leave an unforgettable impression. - per Danny McGaw's website

Tickets for this show will go on sale this Friday, February 24th at 10am. Tickets can be purchased online via Ticketmaster or at the Five Flags Center Box Office. For more information on Three Dog Night, visit their website.
