Marine Corps Toys For Tots Annual Kids’ Christmas Party This Sunday
The biggest, craziest party of the holiday season for kids is back, AND it’s FREE! Marine Corps Toys For Tots has announced the return of the annual Kids’ Christmas Party, this Sunday, December 11th from noon to 3pm at the Five Flags Arena!
The event is hosted by Marine Corps Toys For Tots of Dubuque and the Dubuque Police Department in memory of Police Chief Mark Dalsing, who was a huge supporter of Toys For Tots. Bring your kids out for a fun, safe, and festive chance to play with others, where themselves out, and go home with a few goodies at the end. Every kid in the Dubuque area is invited to stop by.
The three-hour party features music and dancing with a live DJ that’s great with kids. Have some fun on the giant inflatable rides, and make sure to take a peek inside the Paramount Ambulance. Kids can also climb aboard and tour a real fire truck. They’ll show the kids how our local Dubuque Firefighting heroes do their jobs.
Every kid will be excited to see that Theisen’s is offering a free toy giveaway with loads of other surprises and goodies too. There will be plenty for everyone, so you can have fun first and get your gifts before you leave. This year, the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque joins Theisen’s in offering free fun activity and reader books to every child at the party.
And don’t forget to grab your holiday photos! This event is the perfect chance to get your kids photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Those photos will be available to download for free, courtesy of DigitalDubuque.com. Kids can meet and greet and take photos with Disney Frozen favorites, Elsa, Anna, and Olaf in front of a wintery palace backdrop. New this year, Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers will also be featured at a third available photo-op. Kids can also have their faces painted and take home a balloon animal. Plus, free cookies, popcorn, milk, and punch. For more information, visit facebook.com/DBQToysForTots.
