According to local media reports, a man in Turkey accidentally joined his own search party, looking for himself for hours before finding out he was the goal of the rescue mission in some sort of messed up The Hangover sequel type situation.

Turkish Channel NTV said 50-year-old Beyhan Mutlu from a rural region of the country was out drinking with his friends when he went into the forest and didn't come out.

The friends alerted the neighborhood, and volunteers gathered to find the missing guy and bring him home. They just panicked like any good friends would do when their friend went missing.

This search party was calling out Mutlu’s name for hours when suddenly a man within the group said something along the lines of "Who are we looking for? I'm here."

It's not clear how Mutlu found himself in his own search party or how his friends didn't notice the guy they were searching for was with their group, but safely took him home.

This isn't the first time a missing person joined their rescue mission. In 2012, an Asian tourist in Iceland was also found in her own search party, after she somehow didn't recognize her own description.
