Raise a Glass & Discover Illinois Wines at Corkless in Galena

Hey there, wine lovers and adventure seekers! Get ready to experience the best of Illinois wines at Corkless in Galena on June 22nd, from noon to 6:00 pm at Depot Park near downtown.

Spend your afternoon sipping on handcrafted wines from five top Illinois wineries: Massbach Ridge Winery, August Hill Winery, Galena Cellars Vineyard and Winery, Fergedaboudit Vineyard and Winery, and West of Wise.

My wife and I have enjoyed this event over the years, and paired with all the shops and goodies of Galena it's a big win for a relaxing date day.

It’s not just about the wine though! Indulge in delicious bites from regional food trucks like Birds Serious Chicken, Bonfire Pizza Company, Elle and Becks Coffee Company, the Gelato Trailer, and Just Cheddar-Deep Fried Cheese Curds. Not to mention, the countless eateries along Galena's main street just across from Depot Park.

Starting at noon, enjoy the indie-flavored neo-traditional country vibes of Kelly Steward and The Restless Hearts from Rockford. Then, at 3 pm, the Jordan Danielsen Band will take the stage with a fantastic mix of acoustic ballads, blues, and a touch of hip-hop.

As you sip and savor, check out unique creations from local artists Cindy Legate, Christina Cruz, Andrew Raeside, and Henry Matthiessen III. The Scenic Art Loop will also showcase their Driftless Region art guides.

Tickets are $20 for adults, which includes a festival glass and five tasting tickets for wine or food. Pre-sale tickets, available through June 21st, include a $5 Bottle Voucher. Get your tickets on their website or at the festival entrance. Tickets for designated drivers and those under 21 are just $5.

Enjoy free parking and a covered tent with seating. Feel free to bring your own chairs, small tents, or coverings (up to ten feet by ten feet). Well-behaved, leashed pets are also welcome at the event!
