Saints Head to Second Round of USHL Clark Cup Playoffs
Last night was a roller coaster of emotions as our Dubuque Fighting Saints defeated the Green Bay Gamblers away from home to advance in the Clark Cup Playoffs in their hunt for cup glory.
Down one in the series after the first game, the Saints put in a resounding win game 2 with the Gamblers, outscoring them 5 to 2. This was all followed by a true showdown last night as the Saints ran out 3-2 winners. Check out all the game 3 action from Green Bay below.
All the action will once again be right here on Eagle 102.3 as Blake Theisen broadcasts live from our possible 3 game series at Fox Valley Ice Arena.
The new playoff setup sees our Saints playing all of those 3 possible games on the road. There won't be an opportunity for a home game at Dubuque Ice Arena until the next round of the tournament which would see us take on either the Roughriders or the Phantoms.
