According to a press release from the organization, the Dubuque Fighting Saints have called up affiliate defenseman Julian Brown to the active roster for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

“The guys have been great. It's obviously a faster pace, so I feel like I'm getter better each day with that. I'm just having a great time out here. It's been a lot of fun.”

Brown was originally selected #42 overall by the Fighting Saints in the third round of the 2022 Phase I USHL Draft. He played this weekend in the NCDC with the Boston Jr. Bruins. In 42 games with the Jr. Bruins, Brown has recorded a goal and seven assists with 42 penalty minutes. He has been practicing with Dubuque since his season with Boston ended.

Brown is a native of Montclair, New Jersey and will be 17 on April 10th. He stands at 6’3, weighs 214 pounds, and shoots left-handed. He is currently featured on the Elite Hockey Prospects website here. He has also represented the United States in several tournaments at levels S15, S16, and Prep.
