This season begins at home with an in-state rivalry as the Waterloo Black Hawks come to Dubuque Ice Arena on Friday September 29th for a 7:05pm puck drop. The Saints then battle in-state rivals the Cedar Rapids Roughriders the following evening, Saturday September 30th, away from home.

After a year of playing area and conference teams consistently, this season sees the Saints take on more western conference teams. This year, trips to and from the Fargo Force, Tri-City Storm, Sioux City Musketeers, Sioux Falls Stampede, and Lincoln Stars will add to an already jam-packed season of travel and competition withing the USHL.

The University of Dubuque announced the addition of Men's and Women's Ice Hockey to their NCAA Division III Intercollegiate Athletics Program with competition to begin for the school year 2023-24.
