According to a press release form the organization, Dubuque Fighting Saints forward Oliver Moberg has announced his commitment to further his education and hockey career at Clarkson University. Moberg, a native of Bromma, Sweden, has provided the Fighting Saints with exceptional two-way play as a centerman in his first year in the USHL.

Moberg has compiled 20 points (six goals, 14 assists) on the season for Dubuque in 27 games. He currently ranks tied for fourth on the team in both points and assists. Along with his point production, the Swede is also tied for the team lead with a +7
rating on the year.

“Oliver has been looking over his options for awhile and we are happy that he found a great fit in Clarkson. They are getting a reliable two way player who can play in any situation.”

Before heading oversees and joining the Fighting Saints this season, Moberg spent the last several years with AIK J20 in Sweden including a handful of games with AIK’s top pro club. Clarkson is led by 11th year head coach Casey Jones. As of this release, Jones has led the Golden Knights to an 11-10-3 record and they are currently tied for sixth place in the ECAC standings.
