We talk about complete games in Hockey, and this was it. The Saints outshot the Roughriders 34 to 32 on the night; with Marcus Brannman registering 40 saves on the evening and completed a shut-out victory. There's the reason the Swedish national team called him up for the Junior World Championships! In addition, both teams failed to capitalize on any power plays. The Saints going 0 for 3 and the Roughriders 0 for 2. There were 4 separate goal scorers on the evening, but the exciting side of this equation continues to be Forward Ryan St. Louis, who now has 16 assists to accompany his 8 goals. He currently leads the team with 24 points across 18 games.

Saturday night the Saints were on the other side of the spectrum falling to newer rivals the Des Moines Buccaneers 4 to 0.

These teams seemed fairly evenly matched through-out the game, but a lack of finishing from the Saints doomed them after falling behind 2 to 0 in the first. On the evening both teams took 32 shots, with the Buccaneers making good on 1 of 4 powerplay attempts and the Saints faltering on 3.
