Birria tacos are the signature item on its extensive menu.

Today is National Taco Day, and it wouldn't make sense not to highlight what's been dubbed the best tacos in Illinois.

My Mom always used to say "Don't judge a book by its cover." That saying should hold up when it comes to restaurants in gas stations.

There is a soft spot in my heart for Diamond Dave restaurants. There used to be one in Quincy, Illinois and another in Keokuk, Iowa. I honestly thought they were completely gone, but low and behold I found one still hanging in there in Iowa. I also found a retro t-shirt, too.

It's a battle of the taco franchises.

Rusty Taco Makes Great Happy Hour Margs. While stopping by the Natural Grocers at Asbury Plaza, I noticed a few folks under the umbrellas and at the outside bar at Rusty Tacos.
