Special Thanksgiving Eve Flight Added at Dubuque Regional Airport

If you’ve ever tried to get out of town the day before Thanksgiving, you know it can feel a little like herding cattle in a snowstorm. Lines get long, the terminals get crowded, and everyone’s trying to make it home before the turkey comes out of the oven. Well, there's good news for Dubuque: the Dubuque Regional Airport is giving folks an extra option to beat the holiday rush this year.

According to a recent press release, a special Thanksgiving Eve flight to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, is set for Wednesday, November 26th. Denver Air Connection will send off an evening flight at 6:30 PM, landing in Chicago around 7:35. It’s a one-night-only sort of thing, added to the usual schedule of the morning departure and evening arrival Dubuque travelers are used to.

“We’re excited to partner with Denver Air Connection to offer this additional flight on what is traditionally one of the year’s busiest travel days. This evening departure will provide an extra option for those travelling for Thanksgiving, including many of Dubuque’s college students.”
