The Millwork Night Market kicks off its summer event season with a fun evening in Dubuque's Millwork District. The Night Market is scheduled to take place every 2nd Thursday of May - October, 5:00-8:00 PM, with the first event this Thursday, May 12.

While not directly affiliated with the Saturday Farmer's Market, the Millwork Night Market has a similar mission and vibe. Showcasing local food producers, artists, and musicians is part of the mix, but with a midweek after-work nightlife twist. The event also ties into the burgeoning character of the Millwork as Dubuque's urban place to live, work, and play.

The Millwork Night Market draws vendors, food purveyors, and artisans from the Tri-States to create a lively and fun evening out. Joining the festivities means you get the chance to meet and connect with the makers, bakers, and artisans. Shopping and buying directly from these entrepreneurs also helps keep the dollars in the local economy. It's a winning formula for small businesses and the community.

Be sure to bring some extra cash. While many vendors have card readers, some may not, and there will not be an ATM readily available onsite. In addition, many of the Millwork streets may be barricaded, so plan ahead and perhaps walk or bike a few blocks to save time on finding parking.

The Night Market is located in the Millwork District on Jackson Street between 7th and 9th Streets. The Jule Public Transportation Night Rider also stops one block away from the market on White St.

Artists, music, food, drinks, and warm summer nights make for a fun evening out. Mark your calendar with 2022 Millwork Night Market season dates: May 12, June 9, July 14, August 18, September 8, and October 13.
